Make it a point to know where the freaks live!

Ever since I became a mother, I have no tolerance for worthless sentiments like the ones above. It is a shame that we must be suspicious of everyone, but it’s the lesser of two evils when our families safety is at stake.
Every state has a “Public Protection Registry” which lists sex offenders ~ simply google your states name plus “public protection registry”. Once you locate the site, you enter your street address. If there are any sex offenders in your area, you will see flags or boxes. Click and you will see the persons name and address, their picture, the nature of their crime. The site shows you where they live in proximity to your home and the local schools. After I checked my home, I also entered the addresses of our favorite parks, ball fields etc. I checked all of the places that my children visit on a regular basis.
You just can’t be too safe these days… Check your neighborhood and favorite hang-outs, and pass the site along to your friends and family.
